1. Apple’s standard licence applies to the app
The HostNest mobile application is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Your licence to use the application is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a different agreement is expressly presented through the App Store.
These website terms supplement that licence for this website, customer support, product information and matters not addressed by Apple’s standard licence. If these terms conflict with Apple’s applicable terms for the app or App Store transaction, Apple’s applicable terms control for that matter.
2. About HostNest
HostNest is provided by Techwave Innovations. It is a property operations tool intended to help users organise short-let properties, bookings, operational tasks, bills, occupancy information, financial summaries and exports.
3. Eligibility and responsible use
You must be legally able to enter into contracts and use business software in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of HostNest, including any guest or third-party information you enter, complies with applicable privacy, tax, licensing, tenancy, consumer and property laws.
4. Your records and accuracy
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and legality of records entered into HostNest. HostNest calculations depend on the dates, rates, costs, payment status and other information you provide. You should independently review financial figures before relying on them for tax, accounting, investment or legal decisions.
5. Not professional advice
HostNest provides organisational tools and calculations. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, insurance, property, safety or investment advice. Reports and estimates are informational and should be reviewed by an appropriately qualified professional where necessary.
6. Free and Pro plans
The Free plan may be limited to one property and selected core features. HostNest Pro may provide multiple properties, reports and private iCloud backup and sync. Current features are shown in the app before purchase.
7. Subscriptions
Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple and renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the App Store subscription terms. Prices, currencies, taxes, trials and billing periods shown by Apple at purchase are controlling. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
Ending Pro does not intentionally delete local HostNest records. Access to Pro-only functionality, including cloud sync and certain exports, may stop at the end of the paid entitlement period.
8. iCloud availability
iCloud backup and sync depend on a supported Apple device, an available Apple ID, enabled iCloud services, connectivity and Apple’s systems. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted synchronisation or restoration. You should maintain appropriate independent records and exports for important business information.
9. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use HostNest for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.
- Enter information you have no right to process.
- Attempt to bypass subscription checks or security controls.
- Reverse engineer or interfere with the service except where law expressly permits.
- Use the website to distribute malware, spam or harmful content.
- Misrepresent HostNest reports as audited or professionally certified records.
10. Intellectual property
HostNest, its branding, software, website design, text and original materials are owned by Techwave Innovations or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership. You retain responsibility for and any rights you hold in information you enter into the app.
11. Availability and changes
We may maintain, improve, replace or discontinue features. We aim to avoid unnecessary disruption and will not intentionally delete local records merely because a subscription ends. App updates may be required for security, compatibility or continued access to Apple services.
12. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, HostNest is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that every calculation, notification, sync operation or third-party service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Techwave Innovations is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost bookings, penalties, tax consequences or loss caused by inaccurate user data, missed notifications, unavailable Apple services or decisions made solely from an estimate or report. Statutory liability that cannot lawfully be limited remains unaffected.
14. Support
Support is available at support@techwaveinnovations.co.uk. Support does not include professional legal, tax, accounting or emergency property services.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as HostNest develops. The current version will be published on this page with its update date. Continued use after an update may be treated as acceptance where permitted by law.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Techwave Innovations’ place of establishment, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights that apply to you.
