HostNest is designed to keep operational details understandable. These answers cover the parts that most often need clarification.

How is my data saved?

HostNest saves core records on your device. Pro users can enable private iCloud backup and sync for reinstall recovery and supported Apple devices.

Why are subscription plans unavailable?

The App Store must be able to load HostNest’s current products. Check your internet connection and Apple account, then use Retry or Restore Purchases.

How do I restore Pro?

Open HostNest Settings, choose Compare Free and Pro, then select Restore Purchases using the Apple ID that made the purchase.

How do notifications work?

HostNest uses local iPhone notifications for tasks and bills that are due or overdue. Notification permission can be changed in iPhone Settings.

Does changing currency convert amounts?

No. Currency changes the symbol and formatting used by HostNest. It does not apply an exchange rate to existing figures.

Can I export my records?

HostNest Pro provides PDF and CSV exports for selected periods and property records.

What happens if Pro ends?

Existing local records remain available. Pro-only features such as additional property creation, reports and iCloud sync may stop.

How do I report a problem?

Email support with the device model, iOS version, what you expected, what happened and a screenshot if possible. Do not send guest passwords or payment information.

Before emailing

Confirm HostNest is updated, your device has internet access and the issue still occurs after reopening the app.

For purchase issues

Use Restore Purchases first. Apple handles payments, refunds and billing, while HostNest verifies the entitlement Apple returns.

For lost data

Do not overwrite another device unnecessarily. Tell support whether Pro sync was enabled and which Apple ID/device last had the records.
